Exclusive Interview — The Middle East is on the brink of a new war after a dizzying series of events. Israel has attacked Hezbollah militants in Lebanon, including assassinating a Hezbollah leader. Iran, a long-time supporter of Hezbollah, attacked Israel. Now Israel is vowing strong retaliation against Iran. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said, “Iran made a big mistake… “You will pay a price,” he said.

Israel has been at war with Hamas in the Gaza Strip for nearly a year, but in less than two weeks its war with Hezbollah has brought it to the brink of all-out war with Iran. And now the Middle East is in uncharted territory, despite all the tensions and conflicts that have divided the region for years.
