Israeli occupation forces continue to destroy buildings and residential areas near Rafah and Zaytoon as part of an ongoing ground operation.

A new school year without education

This Monday morning, a new school year began in schools in the West Bank and Jerusalem, but not in the Gaza Strip, where Israel has been fighting a devastating war for 11 months.

“2,459 public, private and UNRWA schools are open to more than 806,360 boys and girls, who are educated by 51,447 male and female teachers,” the Palestinian Ministry of Education said in a statement.
