New York Giants rookie wide receiver Malik Nabers remains in concussion protocol and is scheduled to miss his second straight game against the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday night.
Coach Brian Daboll made the announcement Friday, two days after Narbers took the job. Spotted at Travis Scott concert It was held at MetLife Stadium.
Daboll emphasized that while Nabers’ attendance at the concert did not violate any regulations regarding concussion protocols, he did not authorize his appearance.
Brian Daboll was asked if he had an issue with Malik Nabers after he attended Travis Scott’s concert at MetLife Stadium earlier this week.

“Yes, we’ll keep it all in-house,” Daboll said.
Navers, who attended the concert, wore dark sunglasses, but other than that, they looked healthy and bright. After all, if your concussion symptoms persist, a loud concert with strobe lights probably isn’t the best place for you.
Even though Nabers’ presence at the concert did not violate any protocol rules, it put Daboll in the awkward position of explaining how a rookie could party but not play. Optics are not desirable.
Nabers suffered his first concussion 15 days ago in Week 4 against the Dallas Cowboys. If he returns next week against the Philadelphia Eagles, he will miss a total of 24 days.
On Wednesday and Thursday, Nabers worked outside with trainers, and Daboll suggested they do it again on Friday.
“He’s improving,” the coach said.
In four games this season, Narbers has 35 catches for 386 yards and three touchdowns.
