New York Giants legend Eli Manning has built quite the resume during his career, and now the two-time Super Bowl MVP has earned his spot in the Pro Football Hall of Fame.

Manning’s all-time passing yards ranking took a hit on Sunday when former Detroit Lions and current Los Angeles Rams quarterback Matt Stafford surpassed him.

Stafford moved up to 10th all-time in passing yards last week, while Manning moved back up to 11th overall. Manning, in typical Eli fashion, congratulated Stafford on his achievement.

As Manning’s video notes, Stafford is just seven touchdowns away from leapfrogging him into 10th all-time in passing touchdowns. Eli sarcastically remarked that there would be no praise video if that happened.

Two years ago, Aaron Rodgers led Manning in total passing yards, dropping Eli to the last spot in the top 10 and staying there until Stafford took that spot.

Fortunately for Manning, there aren’t many active players next to Stafford who could come close to surpassing Manning anytime soon.

Manning’s career accolades are highlighted by two spectacular playoff performances, including two Super Bowl wins over Tom Brady and the New England Patriots.

But Manning also ranks near the top of every statistical quarterback category, likely leading him to Hall of Fame status soon.
