The New York Giants have struggled to have a winning season lately, and last year’s six-win season put pressure on the players to improve themselves during the offseason and prepare for a better season.

One offensive position that needs to improve as he ages is wide receiver, and Hyatt knew heading into his first NFL offseason that he would need to improve his strength and conditioning to comply with the NFL’s strict rules.

The third-round pick from Tennessee was a solid contributor during his rookie season, catching 23 passes for 373 yards and averaging 16.2 yards per catch.

But he and the team want more, and that will come through the work between seasons.

Hyatt told the Big Blue Film Room that the secret to her off-season diet this year is eating lots of peanut butter and jelly sandwiches.

The recipient explained that the reason he had a hard time gaining weight and building muscle like other people was because he was burning calories quickly.

Hyatt said he always finishes his meal full, but when he gets hungry again later, he quenches his appetite with an old-fashioned sandwich.

A number of factors need to come together for Big Blue to find a breakthrough in the tricky NFC East.

Of course, the team’s key player is quarterback Daniel Jones, and he will need plenty of help from his supporting cast.

Hyatt is one of them, and if gorging on peanut butter and jelly sandwiches in the offseason leads to better performance and more wins, that unusual diet could spread to the entire team.
