Chanel Maya Banks — A ‘Gossip Girl’ actress who was reported missing by her family posted a message on social media explaining that she was not actually missing. Now I have filed a restraining order against her mother and cousin.
The bank filed for an injunction on Thursday. Claiming her mother, Rushmin Judy KumarAnd cousin, Daniel SinghThey worked together to destroy her trust and harass her.
In the documents, Banks said his mother and cousin repeatedly attempted to make unwanted contact with him after he told her he wanted to distance himself again in October. She said the pair then called Los Angeles police to report her as missing and had officers check on her health.
Chanel claimed that she would not stop contacting her husband even if they divorced. carlosShe repeatedly said she was fine and didn’t want to talk to them. And she said she even received text messages threatening to “weaponize the police” against her.
Banks then said her mother and cousin broke into her apartment while she was traveling on Nov. 10. They allegedly attacked Carlos, stole his work badge and placed an Apple AirTag on her car to track her movements. She said she has filed a police report about the incident.
Banks said her mother and sister intensified their attacks on her and her husband. They went on to accuse him of murder and even claimed that Chanel should be placed under 5150 psychiatric care.
Banks asked the court to order Luchmin and Danielle to stop contacting her physically or electronically and to stop talking about her publicly.
As we said… Chanel is Found alive and unharmed by Los Angeles police in November, shortly after a missing person report was filed. In a since-deleted Instagram post, Banks explained that she had gone to Texas to be baptized by her favorite pastor.
Sources close to the family spoke with TMZ and denied all allegations of wrongdoing, especially the claim that someone assaulted Carlos.
Chanel says her mother and cousin left marks on her husband’s body, but our sources say Chanel had them before Lucimin and Danielle went to his apartment.
We’re told that because of everything Chanel said about her mom and cousin, the family is not interested in re-establishing communication with her.
Our source thinks Banks should be more grateful that she has family that will come looking for her, but is ultimately just glad she’s safe and moving on with her life.
