Report: APAC leaders invest more in genAI
Investments in generative AI technologies will increase in the Asia Pacific region in the coming years.
In the ninth edition of Royal Philips’ Future Health Index report, more than six in 10 APAC leaders surveyed said they plan to invest in genAI in the next three years. Today, nearly 40% have already invested in the technology.
While there is great excitement about the potential of AI in healthcare, nearly all leaders surveyed in the region said they are deeply concerned that “data bias in AI applications will widen gaps in health outcomes.”
To mitigate risks, leaders are working to increase transparency around AI, ensure diversity in the use of data and AI, provide ongoing AI education and training, and implement policies for the ethical use of data and AI.
