A recent poll from the Rasmussen Report found that a majority of Americans, including a significant number of Democrats, now view Biden’s deteriorating mental health as a national security threat.
Biden’s speech to the nation this week did little to soothe concerns. Biden seemed neither mentally healthy nor even fully engaged.
This is why there have been persistent calls for him to step down not only from the campaign but also from the presidency.
Washington Examiner report:
A majority, including 39% of Democrats, fear Biden poses a “threat” to U.S. security.
A new poll shows that President Joe Biden’s mental decline is quickly becoming a threat to national security, a finding that is expected to intensify efforts to oust him from the White House before his term ends on January 20.
Over the weekend, Biden reversed course, announcing that he would drop out of the 2024 race and seek reelection after suffering a crushing defeat in the first debate with Republican challenger Donald Trump and the media highlighted his mistakes and mutterings on the campaign trail.
Some have started pressuring Biden to resign immediately, claiming he is “looking senile.” But he has insisted there are other reasons for his poor appearance, including jet lag, COVID-19 and lack of sleep.
In a recent Rasmussen Reports poll shared with Secrets, 61% said Biden’s “mental decline” is a threat to national security. Surprisingly, in a poll conducted with the Heartland Institute before Biden withdrew from his reelection campaign, 39% of Democrats and 62% of independents agreed.
It’s almost impossible to argue against this.

Of course, the downside to Biden resigning from the presidency is that Kamala would take his place.
