If you’ve always wanted to try Erewhon’s Hailey Bieber Skin Glaze Smoothie, today is your lucky day! A delicious, creamy strawberry smoothie with added skin-boosting ingredients.

If you haven’t heard of the Erewhon craze, it’s basically a gourmet grocery store that sells organic foods and collaboration smoothies named after celebrities like Hailey Bieber, Bella Hadid, Kourtney Kardashian, Kendall Jenner (and more). This recipe has a few steps and a few special ingredients, but it’s an easy recipe. In my opinion, it’s worth the craze.

  • banana This recipe calls for organic bananas, but frozen bananas are best.

  • date You will need seedless dates. These add sweetness and texture to the smoothie.

  • Coconut cream Use it inside the glass. I used this. Coconut cream.
  • maple syrup Used to add sweetness to strawberry glaze.

As with all fruit smoothies, healthy fats like banana, avocado, and dates have many benefits. However, since this recipe is specifically marketed as a skin glazed smoothie, I thought it would be interesting to learn more about the benefits of that particular ingredient.

Collagen Collagen has many benefits, including skin health, joint health, heart health, gut health, and healthy nails.

Benefits of hyaluronic acid Hyaluronic acid is great for hydration, leading to glowing, plump skin. It can also support healthy joints.

Benefits of Sea Moss Gel Sea Moss Gel is a nutrient-rich gel extracted from sea moss. It has a similar texture to aloe vera gel. Sea moss is rich in minerals such as iodine, potassium, calcium, vitamins, and protein. It is rich in fiber and prebiotics.

Manufacturing method

Strawberry Glaze Start by cutting the strawberries into small pieces. In a small pan, add the maple syrup and sauté. Sauté over medium heat until the strawberries are soft. Mash with a fork. I like a chunky texture for this recipe, but you can mix them very gently if you prefer.

smoothie In a blender, combine almond milk, banana, strawberries, avocado, pitted dates, collagen, and sea moss gel. Blend until smooth.

Prepare the glass by using the back of a spoon to spread the coconut cream upwards on both sides of the glass. Add a little strawberry glaze to the bottom of the glass. Then, pour the smoothie over the glass. Insert a straw and serve.

Tips for making

  • white stripes Whenever I make a copycat recipe, I want my recipe to look exactly like the real thing. For this recipe, one of the eye-catching elements in the presentation is the coconut cream lining the inside of the glass. I used coconut cream (refrigerated at room temperature), but mine looked more translucent and subtle. So I ended up using coconut yogurt to get a bright white.
  • Prepare in advance If you want to make this recipe quick and have everything ready in your fridge, I recommend making a double (or more) of the strawberry glaze and storing it in the fridge for a week’s worth of smoothies. Once you’re ready, this recipe is super quick and easy!
  • a pinch of salt If you want a little more balance, try adding a pinch of salt to your strawberry glaze or smoothie.
  • replacement If you can’t get sea moss gel, collagen, or liquid hydrochloric acid, you can omit these ingredients without much difference in the final taste. These supplements provide skin-strengthening benefits to this recipe. However, you won’t be able to taste them and the recipe will still be delicious without them.
  • Alternative Materials Vanilla Stevia is included in the original Erewhon recipe, but I found it to be sweet enough without it. Some versions of this recipe recommend adding magnesium. If you’re looking for a high-magnesium option, you might also want to try Sleepy Girl Mocktail.

Final Thoughts

If you can’t get a chance to try an Erewhon smoothie in Los Angeles, I 100% recommend trying this homemade recipe. I knew from the first sip that it lived up to the hype.

I will tell you that since I started testing this recipe, my kids have been asking for it every single day. They call it “Strawberry on the Bottom Smoothie.” Honestly, it’s the best smoothie I’ve ever made at home. I’d love to hear what you think if you try it.
