Halle Berry I broke off relations with Ryan Murphy’s All’s Fair, the upcoming legal drama on Hulu.
The Oscar winner will no longer star in the project, and was also set to serve as an executive producer. Diversity report.
Berry’s departure comes less than a week after news broke that she would star in the series alongside film icon Glenn Close. American Horror Story: Delicate Star Kim Kardashian.
According to the outlet, Berry’s decision to step away from the new series, which is her first series produced under a Disney contract, stemmed from scheduling conflicts.
All’s Fair is described as a sexy legal drama about Kardashian as a top divorce lawyer in Los Angeles and leading an all-women’s law firm.
Details about what Berry’s role might have been have not yet been revealed.
Berry currently has two films coming out this year, including the action film The Union, opposite Mark Wahlberg, which is out on Netflix on August 16, and the tense horror thriller Never Let Go, which is out on September 27.
Berry spoke with ET in April. And she thought about how becoming a mother influenced her performance in Never Let Go, which tells the story of a mother and her young child being terrorized by an evil spirit.
“You know, we say, like mama bears… ‘I’ll take a bullet for my kids. I’ll do anything for my kids.’ This gave me an opportunity to actually act out that scenario, right? To take a bullet for my kids. To actually lay down my life for my kids,” Berry said.

“So, yeah, I think about my real kids every step of the way,” Berry added. “That’s who I am. That’s what makes me who I am.”
