On Friday night, former President Trump spoke to a Christian group saying if they vote in November they won’t have to vote again, and the Harris campaign criticized Trump.
Trump said, “You have to go out and vote. You don’t have to vote anymore. In four years, it will be fixed and it will be fine. You don’t have to vote anymore. In four years, you don’t have to vote again.”
The Harris campaign responded through spokesman James Singer, saying, “When Vice President Harris says this election is about freedom, she means it. Our democracy is under attack by the criminal Donald Trump. After Trump lost the last election, he sent in a mob to overturn the results. This campaign has promised violence if he loses, and if he wins, to end the election, end the Constitution, and empower a dictator to implement his dangerous Project 2025 agenda on America. Donald Trump seeks to take our country back to the politics of hate, chaos, and fear. This November, America will unite around Vice President Kamala Harris to stop him.”
Trump is a criminal who wants to end democracy. There is no debate. Donald Trump is not hiding it. He is saying it loudly. The former president is promising his supporters that if they show up in November and vote for him, they will never have to show up again.
Trump didn’t say they didn’t have to vote for him. He seemed to mean that during the voting period, he would take care of the voting thing and make sure we never have to vote again.
The former president showed his contempt for democracy by refusing to debate anyone younger than him and claiming that elections he lost were rigged.
Trump is not only a criminal, he is an enemy of American democracy.
