Harry Brook is out of the IPL contract with Delhi Capital for the second season running, which can lead to a two -year ban in the competition.
Brook apologized to the franchise and supporters “reservedly,” but stressed that playing in England remains his “priority and focus.”
The 26 -year -old boy is one of the leaders with the test captain Ben STOKES to replace the group stage from the champion trophy to replace Jos Buttler as an England’s white ball.

Brook wrote on social media: “I decided to withdraw from the upcoming IPL. I apologize to Delhi Capital and supporters.
“I like cricket. Since I was young, I dreamed of playing in my country, and I am very grateful to have the opportunity to play my favorite game at this level.
“I would have time to seriously consider Roy Decision. It’s a very important time for England crickets and I want to do my best to prepare for the coming series.
“To do this, we need time to recharge after the busiest period of career. I do not understand and expect everyone, but I must maintain my priority and focus on doing the right thing and playing for my country.
“I am very grateful for the opportunity I received and my support.”

England faced a home series with India this summer, and then a re -tour was expected with Australia in winter.
Brook withdrew from IPL in 2024 after his grandmother died and faced a two -year ban in accordance with the provisions prescribed before the auction in 2025.
