Healthy Easter Basket Ideas that the whole family can enjoy

We have to avoid candy and other processed foods, so we need to be creative and think about other Easter basket ideas every year. As children, my younger brother and I always expected to Easter, got a basket with chocolate rabbits and hunted Easter eggs. Because of this special memories, I work hard to make children’s baskets like specials (as foods during drugs).

My family focuses on providing experience instead of material gifts, and I wanted to find a way to bring it to a vacation celebration. Over the years, I found a unique idea and theme for the basket every year. Children not only enjoy selling baskets in the morning of Easter, but also encourage family experience.

Healthy Easter Basket: Too far away?

I was opposed to bringing candy out of the Easter basket too far away. If your thoughts are running along this line, consider:

Easter is the second largest candy vacation of the year after Halloween. More than 16 billion jelly beans are made every year with millions of neon marshmallow chicks and hundreds of chocolate snacks. Children’s Easter baskets are often filled with ingredients that are not consume by high fructose corn syrup, food dyes and our body (and our children’s bodies).

My point is that if I am extreme, it responds to a big problem.

Food dyes can affect behavior and many people consume more than 100 pounds per year, so it is more important to consider healthier alternatives on holidays. This simple switch does not remove fun or tradition. Reduce sugar and food dye content.

Obviously, sometimes the stress of selecting natural options can surpass this. But I think this is a vacation that we can definitely improve. We still can celebrate everything that is intended without going to extreme at both ends of the spectrum.

Okay, that didn’t interfere. .. Easter Basket!

Easter basket ideas with no more than 25 candy

The following is what our family likes most in Easter for many years. Hopefully some of them will turn the wheels and bring a perfect idea to the family!

Experience -based/Theme Easter Basket Idea

The basket with the theme of this experience is more fun and longer than the sugar -filled candy basket. Create an Easter basket based on activities or themes such as horticulture, baseball, swimming or camping. Give children a gift of new skills or favorite hobbies.

These are part of my favorite themes in the past resurrection basket.

Horticulture

The theme of the past and the theme that is selected again every year in the past. I use a cheap clay pot in “basket” Child size horticulture glovesSeeds, Small garden toolAnd other garden -related items. Each child helps us get other types of seeds to use in the garden, start seeds, plant them in the bed, and plant water all year round.

Camping basket

In one year, each child received a camping item on a basket to store camping supplies. They got sleeping bag,,, Flashlight,,, binoculars,,, whistleand Camping is a product.

Sports basket

Even a basket with equipment for specific sports and even tickets for local minor league teams start the game as a family all year round. One year we put a new attachment in the ninja line in the backyard.

Movie Night Basket

Children really enjoy the night of family movies, so the basket can include summer PJs, movie tickets or DVDs. Each child gets another movie, makes snacks, and sets a movie to “host” the night of the movie. It is a perennial favorite in my house. How to train dragons and Cinderella.

Craftsmanship

Every mother knows the challenge of children’s fun and productive occupation for children. Especially in summer, Easter should not end! Craft theme baskets are suitable for this. I can fill the basket with crafts Building,,, glue,,, scissors,,, Buttonand Modeling clay.

Scabin that hunting basket

With this idea, baskets are part of experience. For years I want to give a single experience/gift to all children who do not fit the basket. I hunt that hunt and leave a clue in a basket around the gift. Children work together to find the first clues and hide one part of the first clue of each basket so that you can lead the hunting for the scabin with the final destination or resurrection gift.

Easter Basket Filler Ideas

If you do not want to follow the theme of the Easter basket, fill it with any assortment of a healthy Easter basket idea.

And when you have time: Try handmade!

Rejection to neon jelly bean and marshmallow chicken! Skip the chocolate rabbit and Cadburge eggs completely and make a healthy chocolate, marshmallow or gelatin fruit snack (perhaps Easter Theme Mold). You can also create this cute meringue nest.

And it is not convenient, but homemade candy comes with the quality time to prepare for Easter.

If your child still likes to treat funny Easter baskets without all sugar, there are many candy options. A healthier candy can be selected, such as a sucker without dark chocolate or dyes. Here you can get a full list of your favorite healthy candy options. The following Easter snacks are mixed with options and handmade options purchased from the store.

Ester gift for older children

Many of the above ideas may work for older children, but there are some ideas that fit this age group. Even teenagers like to receive their favorite gifts!

Easter egg

Easter eggs are a tradition that I can appreciate, and it has a beautiful meaning at this time. Of course, there are several suggestions about how to dye Easter eggs naturally. Check out this post for more information!

To hide treasures using plastic resurrection eggs, fill them with small objects instead of candy. Eggs can also include “dots” that can be used to “purchase” larger phases in the box. The better way is to hide the actual eggs or hunt a janitor with a clue that ends with a fun prize or destination! There is also a very cute reuse, which is a better option than plastic eggs.

Treasure

Thinking of the new Easter Basket Ideas requires some thoughts outside the box. But in the end, my children are convinced that they are not deprived or missed at the season’s celebration. In fact, it is amazing how colorful, sweet and festival is a healthy Easter basket. I hope this idea will help you fill the Easter basket with cakes, joy, and health.
