Donald Trump’s appearance at the famous Al Smith Dinner on Thursday was marked by his signature blend of humor and political commentary.

This was a glorious opportunity for the 45th President to remove all his little filters and get down to business.

He took the opportunity to joke about the state of the Democratic Party and aimed devastating barbs at Vice President Kamala Harris, her running mate Tim Waltz, Crying Chuck Schumer and liberals in general.

Harris notably did not attend the event, but sent a video message instead. actually saturday night live A character mocking Catholics… at an event aimed at raising funds for Catholic charities.

I completely lost contact.

Even comedian Jim Gaffigan, who is not an ardent Trump supporter, took time to completely shred Harris, who did not appear.

But as one might expect, it was Trump who really shined here. The Republican candidate is at his best when he’s just relaxing. While his opponents look and act like downright robots, Trump has consistently come across as the likable dude you want to hang out with.

Here are some of his best moments…

Trump’s best moments at the Al Smith dinner

Where better to start a joke at Kamala’s expense? Trump hit her with this line at the Al Smith dinner, referencing her plea to spare rioters and arsonists in Minneapolis after the George Floyd riots.

“If you really wanted Vice President Harris to accept your invitation, you should have told her that the money would bail out the looters and rioters in Minneapolis and guaranteed she would have been here,” Trump said.

He then took an epic photo of what we initially thought was Joe Biden, but listen. Much better.

“We have a person in the White House right now who can barely speak, who can barely form two coherent sentences, and who appears to have the mental capacity of a child,” Trump lamented. “But enough about Kamala Harris.”

And there were these barbs at her supporters: More specifically, the people at ‘Dudes for Harris’ headquarters. Paternity Pete, David Hogg, etc.

“There’s a group called ‘White Dudes for Harris,’ and I’m not worried about them at all because their wives and their wives’ lovers are all voting for me,” he quipped.

Oh, they’ll be raving about that line after spin class this morning. While speaking about Harris’ white ‘friends’, Trump figuratively murdered her running mate, Tim Walz, on several occasions.

“I used to think the Democrats were crazy for saying men have periods,” Trump quipped. “Then I met Tim Walz.”

The former president also took aim at Walz’s propensity to make claims about his military record and public office, which ultimately turned out to be untrue.

“Unfortunately, Governor Walz was not here in person,” he said. “But don’t worry, he will say he did.”

Of course, it’s always good to see Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY), aka Cryin’ Chuck, getting uncomfortable. And Trump quickly delivered the following comment:

“Chuck Schumer seems very gloomy. But look on the bright side, Chuck, considering how woke your party has become, even if Kamala loses, you still have a chance to become the first female president.”

Another important joke

Trump delivered some of the most sensational lines of the night, but we would be remiss if we didn’t address one particular comment from host Jim Gaffigan. It was meant as a joke, but if you think about it, it’s actually not true.

The comedian addressed the elephant in the room. The Democrats who staged the coup went against the wishes of the voters.

“Democrats have been saying that Trump’s re-election is a threat to democracy,” he said. “In fact, they were so concerned about this threat that they staged a coup, ousted a democratically elected incumbent and installed Kamala Harris.”

That’s all true. Biden was eviction. harris was Installed. And it was the biggest attack on democracy this country has seen in years.

Think about it for a moment. They got rid of a guy the Democrats voted for for the sole reason they didn’t think he could win. What can we do to prevent them from doing it again? And again.

Voting Democratic no longer means anything. (Who is the top representative?)

With less than three weeks left before the election, Trump seems more relaxed than ever. Harris, meanwhile, seems stiff and completely out of touch with the average American.

Who is it? you Are you going to vote?
