High Protein Cottage Cheese Cookie Dough

When you imagine making a holiday meal, you probably picture five-pound bags of flour and sugar, a kitchen sink full of mixing bowls, and a buttered apron. It’s an activity that can last for hours, and means sampling at least one of every batch of cookies that come out of the oven.

But that’s not the only way to make seasonal sweet treats. This chocolate chip cookie dough comes together in minutes with minimal mess. There is no need to light the oven.

And best of all, it is rich in protein. Cottage cheese is a super power when it comes to enjoying high-protein desserts. While some prefer it on its own, its versatility makes it incredibly popular.

You can use cottage cheese in a variety of recipes. (Trust us, we’ve written a few of them!) There are tons of desserts out there, but this craveable, high-protein cookie dough might just be our favorite.

ingredient:

  • 1 cup cottage cheese
  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup
  • 1 scoop of protein powder
  • ⅔ cup almond flour
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ¼ cup chocolate chips

  1. In a food processor, combine cottage cheese, maple syrup, protein powder, almond meal, and vanilla extract.
  2. Process until smooth.
  3. Remove mixture from processor and place in bowl.
  4. Add chocolate chips and mix!
