Do you all know what time it is? It was a famous phrase from . home improvementABC sitcom that aired from September 1991 to May 1999. The half-hour comedy is directed by Tim “The Toolman” Taylor (tim allen) He’s not a handyman at all, but he hosted a home improvement show titled “Tool Time.”
When he’s not working, he’s with his assistant and best friend Al Borland (Richard Kahn), Tim spent time at home with his wife Jill.Patricia Richardson) and three sons: Brad (Zachary Ty Brian); Randy (Jonathan Taylor Thomas); And Mark (Taran Noah Smith).
The series, which launched Allen’s television career, ran for eight seasons and was nominated for seven Primetime Emmy Awards. Thomas, whose career took off while the show was airing, quit the show in its eighth season to go to school.
Allen and Richardson were both offered between $25 and $50 million to produce a ninth season, but both turned it down.
In 2020, Allen revealed that he was “always thinking” about a reunion of some kind. “I like the idea of making it a one-off, like an hour-long movie. I love the idea of finding out where the boys are now.” the cartoon said TV line. “Tool time would be what it is in today’s world. I think it’s a really cool idea, and the actors all think it’s a great idea.”
