Honeydew Boba – A Beautiful Mess

MONews
4 Min Read

Honeydew Boba is a sweet bubble tea recipe made with honeydew melon, matcha powder, milk, water, and boba pearls. It’s refreshing, delicious, and easy to make at home!

I’m going to lightly sweeten this honeydew boba recipe with a little raw honey. But that’s optional because the drink is already naturally sweet from the fruit.

ingredient

Prepare boba pearls and allow to cool before using.

Cut the melon and remove the seeds and rind. You won’t need the whole melon for this recipe unless you’re making multiple servings, so store the rest in an airtight container in the refrigerator for snacking.

In a blender, combine honeydew melon pieces, milk, water, matcha powder, and honey (if using). Mix until smooth.

Add boba pearls and ice to a glass. Then pour the honeydew mixture over the ice. Enjoy it cold.

Crafting Tips

  • You’ll want to serve this drink with a boba tea drink. boba straw. Otherwise, tapioca pearls cannot be easily consumed with drinks. Standard size drawing is too small.
  • Matcha powder is an ingredient I always use in this recipe, but you can omit it if you avoid caffeine or can’t find it.
  • If you want to turn honeydew melons into melons or watermelons, you can easily do so. Of course, the color and taste of this drink will change, but it will still taste fruity and delicious.
