How much money does the Eagles WR make?

6 Min Read

AJ Brown is one of the best wide receivers in the NFL. Since joining the Philadelphia Eagles, Brown has continued to put up huge numbers and help the team compete. Brown is clearly an elite receiver, but is he paid that much? Let’s take a look at his salary, contracts, and net worth.

AJ Brown’s contract and salary

After Brown was traded to the Eagles in 2022, Philly signed him to a lucrative four-year, $100 million contract extension.

Brown’s deal includes a $19.875 million signing bonus and guarantees the WR $51 million at signing.

Brown signed another contract extension last offseason, this one a three-year deal worth up to $96 million, making him the third-highest-paid receiver in the NFL.

Brown earns $32 million per year. The only players earning more are Dallas Cowboys WR CeeDee Lamb ($34 million) and Minnesota Vikings WR Justin Jefferson ($35 million).

When discussing his latest contract, Brown said: said: “It was a huge blessing… It is only God who has given this grace to my life since I was young. Sometimes it’s hard to understand… This was just an accidental discovery. But God gave us free will, and of course I worked hard to do what I had to do.”

The Eagles star said this when asked if it was worth spending that money on him. “I want to prove it. … We don’t play on paper. “No one cares what’s in your bank account when you step between those lines.”

Brown’s Net Worth and Career Earnings

Brown’s net worth is estimated to be: $12 million.

He earned $61,857,060 from his NFL contracts alone during his professional career.

Although his NFL contract has been his primary source of income, Brown has also secured several endorsement deals that contribute to his overall wealth.

The Mississippi native has increased his earnings by partnering with major brands like Nike, Subway, and Old Spice.

Nike signed Brown to an endorsement deal during his rookie year. He has also appeared in Old Spice’s digital commercials and promotional content.

Rams vs. Eagles Game Preview

  • Location: Lincoln Financial Field, Philadelphia
  • Time: 3 PM ET

The winner of this game will face the winner of the other NFC Divisional Round game between the Detroit Lions and Washington Commanders. The team with the better regular season record will host the conference championship.

The Eagles started September with a few hiccups, heading into Week 5 with a 2-2 record. But they won 10 straight on the other side, securing the NFC East division title in a matter of weeks.

Since 2000, Super Bowl participants have allowed a first down on 37.4% of third downs and a touchdown on 52.3% of red zone trips during the regular season. The Eagles and Lions are the only NFC teams that meet both of these benchmarks.

Philadelphia’s defense has been consistently strong this season, with an average Defensive+ rating of 79.9. The Eagles are undefeated and 14-0 when their Defensive+ rating reaches 75 or higher, including an 81.8 rating in last week’s win over the Packers.

The Eagles’ running game has taken a huge leap forward again this year, led by Saquon Barkley. Philadelphia’s running backs are averaging 17.5% more yards per carry after first contact compared to last season.

The Rams have played four games against playoff teams since their Week 6 bye and have averaged 30.3 points in those games.

But on the darker side, the Rams had an average point differential of -1.12 during the regular season. In the 21st century, the 2011 Giants are the only team to advance to Championship Weekend after posting a negative point differential during the regular season.

But a close game won’t surprise the Rams. This season, 15 games were decided by 10 points or less, the most in the league. The same goes for the Eagles, who have a 7-1 record in clutch games in 2024.

Based on 10,000 simulations run by the PFN Playoff Predictor, the Eagles have a 63.2% chance of being in the game.
