The second Die Hard film in the franchise, Die Hard 2 This one also takes place two years after the first one, on Christmas Eve, and this time John meets his wife Holly (Hello, Christmas!) at the Washington, D.C. airport. Unfortunately, her plane is hijacked by former special forces agents, and of course, John is the only one who can save her.

The sequel to the first one isn’t as good as its predecessor: the story feels a bit disjointed, there isn’t enough content to sustain the two-plus hours it takes to resolve the conflict, and the bad guy isn’t as impressive.

Now the third, fourth or fifth movie Die Hard The franchise has nothing to do with Christmas. But the third franchise Die Hard with a VengeanceThis is a film worth watching every year since the first two. It’s worth watching for the star power alone.

Of course, Willis is back as McClane. This time he’s in New York City, unemployed, divorced, drunk, and his newest villain, played by the wonderful Jeremy Irons, is pulling his chains. And to help him? Samuel L. Jackson!
