The Reds have been really ‘lucky’ with injuries this season!

Alisson’s three key starters, Trent Alexander-Arnold and Diogo Jota, have recently been absent, and Konate is currently also absent.

On Friday, the Frenchman took to Instagram to confirm that he is out of Sunday’s visit to City and the subsequent big visit after suffering a knee injury against Real Madrid.

“I am so disappointed to have to suffer an injury right after a great game on Wednesday night,” Konate wrote.

“Now we begin the recovery process. But one thing I promise is that I will come back and be the best I can be.

“Thank you for the amazing support at Anfield. Inshallah we will move on and I will support the team every step of the way.”

meantime, DaveOKCOP It was even claimed that Konate could be out for 5-6 weeks, but it is worth highlighting that none of the mainstream media outlets reported this.
