Case ICA-2024-08: Appeal filed on behalf of Miguel Gayoso Vazquez against Decision No. 1 dated 30 June 2024 of the Stewards of the Matschenberg (Germany) event being included in the 2024 FIA European Autocross Championship.

On June 30, 2024, a collision occurred between Miguel Gayoso Vazquez (driver number 301) and another competitor (driver number 306) during the 2024 FIA European Autocross Championship event in Matschenberg (Germany). Despite this incident, Miguel Gayoso Vazquez took first place in the provisional rankings. However, near the end of the race, the race director issued a black flag to Miguel Gayoso Vazquez for dangerous behavior, resulting in his disqualification (decision number 10).

Miguel Gayoso Vazquez later appealed decision number 10, but the Stewards dismissed his protest.

On the same day, Miguel Gayoso Vazquez informed the Stewards of his intention to appeal their decision.

On 4 July 2024, the Appellant appealed the Stewards’ decision before the ICA.
