The Indian women’s cricket team is at its best in the ongoing white-ball series at home against West Indies. After winning the T20I series, India Women continued their dominance in the ongoing three-match ODI series against the West Indies women’s cricket team.

India’s openers Smriti Mandhan and Pratika Rawal scored 110 runs off 99 balls against West Indies before the senior batsman was out before Karishma Ramharack, who was hit with seven boundaries and two sixes, scored 53 runs off 47 balls. The addition gave India Women a flying start.

Pratika Rawal and Harleen Deol then joined hands and scored 62 runs off 75 balls to set a solid stage for the middle order, before Zaida James came on and scored a stunning 76 runs off 10 balls. Boundary and single maximum.

Harleen Deol smashed 16 boundaries during her masterclass performance against West Indies in the ongoing second ODI at the Vadodara International Cricket Stadium. Later, Rich Gosh (13*) and Deepti Sharma (4*) added an unbeaten 17 runs from 10 balls to lift India to 358/5 on the board against West Indies.

Indian women recorded their highest ODI total in history at 358/5.

This was the joint highest performance by an Indian woman in ODI cricket. Additionally, the Indian women’s cricket team is rewriting the records by showing incredible batting dominance in 2024. The Indian women’s team has achieved three mammoth 300+ totals in ODI cricket this year, surpassing their previous best of two 300+ scores in 2022.
