Record-setting Caitlin Clark and Kelsey Mitchell were nearly even in scoring this season, and both shined in Indiana’s thrilling home finale (Clark had 35 points, Mitchell had 30) in a 110-109 win over the Dallas Wings. Mitchell averaged 19.6 points on 40.2 percent 3-point shooting, while Clark averaged 19.5 points on 34.1 percent 3-point shooting. Aliyah Boston added 14.1 points and 9.0 rebounds, while NaLyssa Smith had 10.4 points and 7.2 rebounds.
The Mystics (13-26), who are competing with the Chicago Sky and Atlanta Dream for the final playoff spot, are led by Ariel Atkins (14.7 points, 1.5 steals), Brittany Sykes (12.5 points), Stephanie Dolson (9.9 points, 47.7 percent shooting from 3-point range, 5.1 rebounds), Aliyah Edwards (7.6 points, 5.6 rebounds) and Julie VanLeu (7.5 points, 4.4 assists).
This season, the Fever have two wins and one loss against the Mystics, all of which were played before the Olympic break.
