MONews

“Donald Trump refuses to put his own money into political campaigns and instead relies on the funding of supporters across the country. But his business continues to raise money for a variety of services. The effect: small donors’ money turns into Trump’s profits. New filings raise questions about whether Trump is using his campaign to divert Secret Service funds into his business profits.” forbes report.

Federal Election Commission documents released Monday show the agency paid the Trump campaign $817,000 in airfare this election cycle. The Secret Service will also have to pay an additional $361,000 for the campaign. In return, the campaign paid $4.2 million to Tag Air, one of Donald Trump’s companies.”

“It is unclear whether all Secret Service payments include flights on Trump’s personal aircraft, or whether they may also include flights on planes owned by other parties. The Trump campaign’s largest airfare provider is Tag Air, which is 100% owned by Donald Trump.”
