Israeli military authorities are investigating the leak of Hamas documents discovered by troops in the Gaza Strip to international media outlets, including the German newspaper Bild.

“The leaked document is old and was written by junior Hamas leaders, not Sinwar,” a military spokesman said. “The information contained in the document is not new and has been presented to decision-makers on several occasions.”

On the Philadelphia axis… Netanyahu’s aide attacks Sisi and “doubts the result”

Last Friday, Bild newspaper published this ‘secret’ document containing Hamas’ strategy to negotiate with Israel through the mediation of the countries involved.

According to Hebrew media, the document exposes plans by the Hamas leadership to deceive the international community and use the families of kidnapped people to achieve its main goal of restoring the movement’s military strength and securing continued control over the Gaza Strip.

The document also “indicates that Hamas does not intend to end the war quickly for the people of Gaza, but quite the opposite.”

The Maariv newspaper said Egyptian officials involved in the negotiations expressed anger at the response to Cairo’s call to pressure Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to withdraw from the Philadelphia corridor. This is because it violates the peace agreement signed between Israel and Egypt. .”

The Hebrew newspaper reported that Prime Minister Netanyahu intensified Egyptian anger by saying that Egypt’s mediation role would no longer be needed in the next phase.

“Egypt’s security and diplomatic officials are currently discussing several escalation scenarios, including the possibility of bringing back Egyptian Ambassador Khaled Azmi from Tel Aviv and going to the Security Council to pressure Israel to withdraw from the Philadelphia corridor,” the source said. .
