Ferrari junior Oliver Behrman will race full-time in Formula 1 for Haas next year, but the young Briton is already being tipped as Lewis Hamilton’s most likely successor at the Scuderia.
Behrman enjoyed a dream F1 debut with Ferrari at the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix earlier this year. The 19-year-old replaced the unwell Carlos Sainz in the final minutes and finished a surprising seventh.
These achievements likely played a big part in Haas’ decision to offer the vacant spot to young American driver Nico Hulkenberg, with Ferrari’s support.
However, with Hamilton set to move from Mercedes to Scuderia in 2025 when he turns 40, there have been suggestions that Behrmann could return to Maranello after a two-year apprenticeship at Haas.

While Behrman sees Haas as a key stepping stone in his F1 career, he appears to cherish the long-term dream of a Ferrari.
“The long-term dream is still the same: to be successful in F1,” he added.
“I want to win races and championships, and given the support and loyalty Ferrari has shown me, it’s only natural that I want to do that with Ferrari.
“It’s every boy’s dream, and debuting with them has made that dream stronger, but at the same time, I’m also considering it in the short and mid-term.
