Jackie Young was named Most Improved Player of the Year.

Jackie Young can add another honor to her list after the WNBA announced the Las Vegas guard won the 2022 Most Improved Player Award on Monday.

Young, who made his first All-Star Game appearance this year, earned the award by averaging 15.9 points, 4.4 rebounds and 39 assists per game on 43% shooting from beyond the arc. The former Notre Dame standout posted career-high numbers in points, boards and 3-point accuracy. She ranks third in points per game behind A’ja Wilson and Kelsey Plum.

The 24-year-old received 36 out of 52 votes from a panel of sports reporters and broadcasters. Sabrina Ionescu came in second place with 10 votes, followed by Sophie Cunningham (7 votes), Plum (4 votes), Teaira McCowan, Gabby Williams and Han Xu each with 1 vote.

Young and the Aces have a chance to tie their semifinal series with the Storm on Wednesday. Game 3 airs on ESPN2 at 10 PM ET.
