Manchester United beat Everton 4-0 at Old Trafford on Sunday in Ruben Amorim’s first home league game, lifting the Red Devils to ninth in the Premier League standings.
The Portuguese will be delighted with the scoring performance of Marcus Rashford and Joshua Zirczy, who have been criticized and linked with possible red cards.
The players showed the strength they needed from their coaches and forced and took advantage of the opposition’s mistakes, as they did against Bodo/Glimt.
The Dutch national team’s second goal was scored by Ahmad Diallo, who had a standout performance that day, after pinching Jarad Branthwaite’s ball and passing it to Zirkzy.

A quality player certainly cannot be judged based on one game, but INEOS will set a record and the game will further solidify the fact that Branthwaite is definitely not worth the amount quoted by Everton.

Whether INEOS will return for him next summer remains to be seen as Everton are keen to keep him at the club for longer. They will reject any January approach to the British.
Many other elite clubs also participate in the race. It will also be worth watching whether Sunday’s display will convince others.
