Earlier this week, news broke that the Miami Dolphins had agreed to terms on a lucrative long-term contract extension with star wide receiver Jaylen Waddle. This helps secure the future of one of the best forwards moving forward.
Waddle has played a pivotal role for the Dolphins over the past three seasons, making a name for himself while playing alongside superstar wideout Tyreek Hill, making them one of the most talented and accomplished wide receiver duos.
Hill and Waddle are one of the NFL’s elite one-two punches, and have proven to be favorite targets for superstar quarterback Tua Tagovailoa as he looks to sign a lucrative long-term contract with the team this offseason.
On Friday, the Dolphins sent a video of Waddle to Twitter. Waddle wanted to address the team’s passionate fan base about signing a new three-year contract with the franchise to keep him in Miami for the foreseeable future.

Waddle reportedly signed a three-year contract extension worth $84.7 million with the Dolphins, with $76 million of the new contract fully guaranteed.
With Waddle completing the deal and clearly pleased with how things played out, attention turns to Tagovailoa’s deal, the salary he will receive, and whether the team chooses to make him the highest-paid quarterback in the league.
Along with Tagovailoa’s extension, there has been talk of Hill also wanting a new contract, which could further complicate the process but could also set up a bright future in Miami with all three stars taken care of.
