Jets linebacker and defensive captain CJ Mosley, who has missed the last three games with a toe injury, will return to the field for Monday night’s game against the Bills, The Post has learned.

“That’s right. “Of course.” Mosley spoke to The Post about his game plan after practice Saturday. “I’m definitely looking forward to getting out there. I felt good this week. It will definitely hurt. But now I’ve gotten to the point where it feels good mentally to be able to go outside and play. I don’t know how much, but I hope it helps bring about change.”

I believe Mosley has plans to share time with Jamien Sherwood, who has filled in admirably in his absence.

“We haven’t had a full week of practice like we normally would, so going out and playing 60 or 70 snaps is probably not best for me or the best for the defense,” Mosley said. “Jamie has done a great job in everything he does and earned playing time. So we don’t want to take away his momentum.’’

“The goal was to get my reps up and build my confidence because I was there for the first few days,” Mosley said. [in practice] I was a little timid thinking about my feet.

“But this week I tried to be 100 percent myself, so I’m feeling pretty good.”

Jets interim head coach Jeff Ulbrich did not announce Mosley’s official playing time designation on Saturday, but it is likely he will be listed as questionable and fit.

“He’s had a really good week, so we’ve been steadily improving him with the number of reps he’s taking in practice,” Ulbrich said. “He’s feeling the best he’s felt this week, so we’re hopeful.”

When asked how much Mosley could play given how well Sherwood performed in his position, Ulbrich said: “They will all get a chance to play. CJ is an established leader on this team and has been playing at a high level for a long time, so there will definitely be a role for him if he dresses.

“There are a lot of sets where you have three linebackers on the field at the same time, so there will be opportunities for both of those guys to be on the field.”

The only player Ulbrich did not play in was CB Michael Carter II, who injured his back before last week’s game.

Ulbrich had high praise for Isaiah Oliver, who replaced Carter in the slot last week and played well.

“He’s a Swiss Army knife,” Ulbrich said. “He is a truly rare person. ‘MC’ gets injured before the game. We’re talking about 15 minutes before the ball is kicked, as opposed to when we’re in our pajamas a few hours before the game. So that’s a difficult thing.”

Ulbrich said he asked Oliver before the game, “Can you play nickel?”

“yes.” Oliver told him.

“What kind of currency do you prefer?” Ulbrich said.

“Everyone.” Oliver answered.

“In the locker room, I handed him the call sheet and he looked at the front and back of it and he was like, “Call everything.” Ulbrich said. “Having a player like that gives me tremendous stability from a coaching standpoint. He is an invaluable piece to what we are trying to accomplish here.”

Other players on the injury report – TE Tyler Conklin (hip), T Morgan Moses (knee), DL Leckie Fotu (hamstring) and Sherwood, who injured his hand Friday – are all expected to participate in Saturday’s practice and play.

Aaron Rodgers, who has been limited in practice due to an ankle injury suffered in last week’s game in London, has “looked really good” all week, according to Ulbrich.

“He’s a magician when it comes to the work he puts into his body and all the regeneration and everything,” Ulbrich said. “He looks like Aaron, as we all know. “That’s really cool.”
