Hasson Reddick’s resistance looks set to continue into the regular season.

According to Robert Saleh, former Browns general manager Mike Lombardi reported Friday night that Redick was scheduled to play Saturday, but that didn’t happen.

“I’m going to stand firm that when he gets here, we’re going to welcome him,” Saleh said before the Jets’ final practice ahead of Monday night’s matchup with the 49ers. “We’re going to love him, he’s going to be a part of this football team, and he’s going to help us win a lot of football games. He’s going to have to figure out the financial issues, and that’s not my job.”

Saleh said it’s “fair” to assume Redick wouldn’t be available for the game on Monday even if he changes his mind and reports to the team’s practice facility in a day or two.

Redick, who was acquired from the Eagles in late March, did not participate in spring training or show up for training camp, which resulted in him being fined more than $50,000 a day for missing three preseason games.

Every time Reddick misses a game, he loses about $800,000.

Redick is unhappy with his contract, which pays him a base salary of $14.25 million, but the Jets refused to discuss adjustments to his new deal until he showed up at the practice facility.

Redick, a two-time Pro Bowler, rejected the Jets’ offer to extend his contract before the trade was completed, but the Jets still expected Redick to honor his existing contract.

General manager Joe Douglas recently said he hasn’t spoken to Redick directly since he was in the Jets building on April 1, and he hasn’t spoken to his agent, Tony Dandy, recently.

Redick, who has averaged 12.5 sacks over the past four seasons, requested a trade in early August, but Douglas said the Jets have no plans to move him.

OL Wes Schweitzer (hand) and LB Zaire Barnes (ankle) are both expected to miss Monday night’s game.

Schweitzer, the team’s backup interior offensive lineman, was placed on the injured list Saturday afternoon.

He is expected to miss at least the next four games.

Saleh declined to reveal who his backup offensive lineman would be to replace Schweitzer, saying the Jets have a choice.

San Francisco RB Christian McCaffrey (Achilles/calf) is listed as questionable but is expected to play.

Starting safety Talanoa Hufanga (knee)’s availability is uncertain.
