Senator John Fetterman (D-PA) spoke about Trump’s candidacy and said everything couldn’t be weird or people would turn away. This is what many Democrats have already done.

Fetterman told CNN’s Manu Raju:

If you really, really want to be surprised, that’s your prerogative, but there will be plenty of time for that. But personally, I’ll pick my battles. Do you think voters don’t want to hear Democrats complain about Trump? Are you doing it? Well, of course sometimes we want to go against core values or something. But if everything is weird, people may ignore you.

So, if you don’t pick a spot at some point, no one will care at that point. Now he says he’s also doing the same for candidates.

What Senator Fetterman was talking about was the fatigue caused by paying attention to Trump. The mainstream media thought the Democrats would get scared and come running at them. Instead, it turned out that many Democrats didn’t want to hear it.

It might come back if something big happens, but I don’t think we’ll get any attention again until the midterm elections.

As Fetterman says, not everything can be weird. Otherwise people won’t pay attention.

Trump is set to run another four seasons of a stale, tired reality TV show masquerading as the presidency. That doesn’t mean we all have to pay attention and focus.
