Jon Stewart shed tears to the media over Trump conviction fallout.

Jon Stewart ripped a lot of people off during his time. daily show Monday’s Monologue: Trump’s Latest Lies, Biden’s Reaction to Trump’s Verdict, Republicans and Democrats alike. But the group that received his greatest criticism was the media.

“The problem is that most of the time in this country, our leaders are not in the courtroom. They are here, on TV, where the news media has decided that there is no such thing as reality,” Stewart explains.

“What the courts do really well is look back and reconstruct the reality of what happened. The news media can do the same thing, but what they do instead is look forward and speculate about the future.”

Stewart argues that this kind of speculation is pointless because no one knows what the future holds.

“Ask this person what they found offensive about the 2020 election and make a case for their opposing reality in front of them. So when they tell you, ‘I never told you to lock her up,’ what do you say? “I object!” he said.
