“It will be one year on Monday. We miss Anna Marie Cardwell so much. And I would give my last penny to talk to her. [for] her [to] June wrote on Facebook on Dec. 9, referring to Anna’s daughters, Kaitlyn and Kylee.

She added to this message:

“Honestly be sad. [hurts] “Randomly.”

Shannon also said she couldn’t control herself from “crying,” “getting angry,” or acting like everything was okay when she was “dying inside.”

The mother-of-four, who faced backlash for the way she exploited Anna’s death, went on to reveal that her daughter’s death had been “so difficult” for her and her whole family.

“But we [to] keep our promise [that] we take her [everywhere] She was and will continue to be with us as she pleases,” she said.

Anna’s phone number remains in June’s family text chat, she told her followers.

According to June, her loved ones “can’t and won’t delete any texts and will never take her out. [of] Chat,” her post concludes.

“I always go on her TikTok and watch her videos all the time and just search her name and see everything. [videos] People were made for her.”

Everything is so, so sad.

Anna died at the age of 29 after battling stage 4 cancer.

“It is with saddened hearts that we announce that @annamarie35 is no longer with us,” June said in a statement about her death last December.

“She passed away peacefully at our home last night at 11:12 p.m. She put up a huge fight for 10 months. She passed away with her family by her side like she wouldn’t and we will. [sic] We will update with more information as it becomes available today.”

The late mother left behind two daughters. Kaitlyn, 12 years old; and Kylie, 8 years old.

After she passed away, all of Anna’s siblings took to social media to share personal tributes to her.

For example, Alana wrote, “Last night we all let Anna know that it was okay to surround her with love.”

“Unfortunately, around 11pm Anna took her last breath. Anna suffered so much last night but as a family we all know she is now at peace. I’m really heartbroken and don’t know what to say.

“It hasn’t been easy watching my 29-year-old sister battle this terrible disease over the last year. Anna was and still is a fighter.”
