Kamala Harris leads Democratic presidential candidate list

Newsweek, citing sources, reports that Kamala Harris is leading the list of contenders for the Democratic nomination in the upcoming presidential election.

According to the article, Mrs. Harris has a 45% chance of being nominated. At the same time, the current US President Joe Biden has an estimated less than 40% chance of being nominated.

Meanwhile, Axios, citing senior Democratic officials, reported that Biden would likely drop out of the race this weekend.

Earlier, American media outlets unanimously agreed that President Joe Biden’s performance in the debate with former President Donald Trump was “dismal” and that the Democratic Party should be on alert.

American politicians and media are increasingly talking about the possibility of replacing Biden’s nomination with another candidate, with Vice President Kamala Harris seen as the most likely Democratic nominee.
