Critics have slammed Vice President Kamala Harris after she appeared to use a fake Southern accent to flatter voters at a rally in Atlanta.
It’s unclear how this happened, but Harris used a distinct accent when she declared to the crowd, “You all helped us win in 2020, and we’ll do it again in 2024!”
The crowd at the star-studded event was clearly enthusiastic and seemed completely uninterested in blatant flattery.
The Harris campaign also tried to appeal to black voters in Atlanta by recruiting Megan Thee Stallion. Shake your butt to vote.
Critics were quick to deride Harris’ new accent, comparing the way she spoke to crowds in Atlanta to when she spoke to drag queens in Los Angeles.
Kamala Harris, born in California to a Jamaican and an Indian college professor, was speaking to drag queens in Los Angeles a week ago, and tonight she’s speaking to black people in Atlanta.

Does anyone remember the flattery she showed, claiming that “generations” of her and her family had done it? Kwanzaa was celebrated religiously?
Kwanzaa was created in 1966. Harris was born in 1964. Yet somehow, multiple generations of Harris’ family, his Jamaican father and Indian mother, all celebrated it.
Is there anything real about her?

Kamala Harris is not the first Democratic candidate to run for president by flattering a particular group in order to win their votes.
Hillary Clinton has been called the queen of the fake Southern accent after her famous “I’m not tired at all” speech to a mostly black crowd in Selma in 2007.
I’m putting it here so I can easily find it whenever I need to refer to it lol.
