NEW YORK (CelebrityAccess) — Pop Icon Katy Perry was announced as the winner. MTV Video Vanguard Awards Until 2024.

Perry is scheduled to receive the award at the 2024 VMAs in New York. UBS Arena September 11th.

As part of the awards gala, Perry will perform a medley of her biggest hits, marking her first return to the VMAs since 2017, when she hosted and closed the show with a rendition of “Swish Swish” alongside Nicki Minaj.

Perry, a five-time VMA winner, is one of the best-selling artists of all time and is one of five artists in the RIAA’s 100 million-song-certified club, having released six diamond-certified singles and one album.

She has amassed a whopping 115 billion streams over the course of her career, sold over 70 million albums, 143 million tracks, and 27 billion video views worldwide.
