The UFL replaced the second head coach in preparation for the start of the regular season.

The League announced on Monday that Ken Whisenhunt, the Memphis Show Boat, went on vacation for personal reasons. The news came one day after the DC defender coach Regi Barlow was in charge of the chief coach in Tennessee.

Showboat Attack Line Coach Jim Turner will work as a senior coach in the absence of Whisenhunt.

“If Ken Whisenhunt is ready to return to the UFL family, we will welcome him with an open weapon.” “… we respect KEN’s decision that UFL is proud of the first family league and will leave vacation for personal reasons.”

Former NFL chief coach and player Whisenhunt joined the eight team UFL last fall. The showboat hosts Michigan Panthers on Team Opening Game Sunday (EST, ESPN).
