Label Exec Jody Best Joins VNUE

(CelebrityAccess) — Live music technology company VNUE announced that longtime label executive Jody Best has joined the company’s senior leadership team.

Best joins VNUE’s new Artist Services division and will leverage relationships with artists to drive record promotion for the division and expand VNUE’s live music recording services through Set.fm, live stream platform StageIt.com and partner DiscLive Network. The expected.

She is currently the President and Founder of Best Bet Promotions, an independent promotions and marketing company focused on the classic rock and contemporary radio markets. She previously spent 20 years at Capitol Records/EMI, leading promotional campaigns for artists such as The Beatles, Paul McCartney, Bob Seger, Steve Miller, Pink Floyd, Heart, George Thorogood, Duran Duran, The Beach Boys, Poison and The Yes. Rolling Stones, etc.

Her current client list includes Def Leppard, Night Ranger, Tesla, Frank Hannon, and Mr. Includes Big, Dirty Honey, Rickey Medlocke, Ron Keel, Mike Tramp, and Jon Anderson.
