Lenny Yoro has ‘no regrets’ about confirming ‘dream’ move to Manchester United – Man United News And Transfer News

Lenny Yoro has revealed he has “no regrets” about his summer move to Manchester United.

Manchester United beat off fierce competition from Liverpool, Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain to sign Yoro from Lille.

The Red Devils spent around £52m plus extras to sign one of Europe’s best defensive prospects.

Yoro’s start to life at Old Trafford was hampered by a foot injury sustained in a pre-season game against Arsenal. The issue caused him to miss 21 games of the season while he recovered.

The Frenchman made his long-awaited return in Manchester United’s 2-0 loss to Arsenal in early December, when he came on as a second-half substitute. Yoro has started the next two games and played 45 minutes against Bournemouth on Sunday.

In an interview with Téléfoot in France, Yoro revealed that he does not regret joining United despite his injuries and the team’s struggles on the pitch.

“I don’t regret joining Manchester United,” he said.

Le10 Sports Let me quote the 19-year-old: “I have always aimed to play abroad, especially in the Premier League as it has always appealed to me.”

“It’s every soccer player’s dream.”

Yoro explained that he had spoken to Raphael Varane, who left United in the summer after three years in the club.

“I spoke to Varan, who gave me a lot of advice, whether in sport, in life or in this choice.”

“And he had a lot to say.”

Yoro and his team-mates are back in action as they head to the Molineux Stadium to face Wolverhampton Wanderers on Boxing Day.
