Line-up revealed with the return of the Premier League

Leicester City, who returned to the Premier League after the last international break of the year, welcomed Chelsea to the King Power Stadium at the beginning of kick-off.

Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca returns to the club he led to victory in the Championship and promotion to the English top flight last season.

The Blues are currently third in the table, four points behind Manchester City in second and nine points behind league leaders Liverpool.

Meanwhile, Leicester sit three places above the drop zone after three draws in league games and four winless runs in all competitions.

The line-ups for both sides for this exciting early afternoon encounter are as follows:

Leicester Lineup

The good news for Leicester fans is that striker Jamie Vardy is fit enough to start after injury.

Vardy’s return is one of four changes coach Steve Cooper has made for today’s game. Caleb Okoli, Kasey McAteer, Bilal El Khannouss and Vardy all replace Jannik Vestergaard, Abdul Fatawu, Facundo Buonanotte and Jordan Ayew.

Chelsea Lineup

Cole Palmer and Levi Colwill both withdrew from England international duty last week but are both in the Blues’ starting line-up.

Former Leicester player Wesley Fofana started in defense, while Enzo Fernandes replaced Romeo Rabia in the heart of midfield.

But for Reece James, injury frustration is bigger. The Chelsea captain will miss the game after picking up a hamstring problem during training this week.

“Against all odds, I will come out on top,” James wrote on social media.
