Detroit Lions rookie cornerback Terrion Arnold will not travel to Indianapolis with the team and will miss Sunday’s game against the Colts due to a groin injury.
Arnold, who was selected 24th overall in the first round of the 2024 NFL Draft out of Alabama, started all 10 games and recorded 38 total tackles, 30 solo tackles and six passes defended.
He participated fully in Friday’s practice and was considered questionable before being downgraded to out.
“He should be good,” coach Dan Campbell said on Friday when asked if Arnold would play on Sunday.
“We went in this morning and got treatment and everything looked pretty good, so we’ll see how he does in practice today,” Campbell said Friday. “I’m not worried right now, but we’ll see how the day goes.”
