Liverpool remember Southport attack victims with moment of silence – Liverpool FC

Liverpool will hold a moment of silence on Sunday to remember and honour the three innocent victims and all those affected by the horrific attack in Southport.

The attack at Heart Space Studios on July 29 killed three children: 6-year-old Bebe King, 7-year-old Elsie Stancombe, and 9-year-old Alice da Silva Agiar.

Liverpool FC club ambassadors Phil Thompson and Robbie Fowler laid flowers near the scene of the horrific stabbing days after the incident and the club will now pay tribute at its first Anfield match since.

In addition to a minute’s silence ahead of the Reds’ friendly against Sevilla (12:30pm BST), both teams will wear black armbands.

Liverpool tried it in several games during their pre-season tour of the United States, including in Philadelphia ahead of their game against Arsenal (below).

Axel Muganwa Rudakubana, 17, is charged with three counts of murder and 10 counts of attempted murder.
