Some of Manchester United’s loan players are playing in England and Scotland this weekend.

James Nolan (Inverness Caledonian Thistle vs. Cove Rangers)

James Nolan made an immediate impact for Inverness Caledonian Thistle, scoring his first goal for the club just five minutes after coming on as a substitute against Cove Rangers.

The 18-year-old right-back’s first-time shot was blocked, but Nolan grabbed the rebound and levelled the game to earn Duncan Ferguson’s side a point.

Jadon Sancho (West Ham United vs. Chelsea)

Jadon Sancho’s bright start to life in London continued with two assists in two appearances for Chelsea. The 24-year-old, making his first start for Enzo Maresca’s side, opened the scoring after just four minutes with a cross from Nicolas Jackson and completed 90% of his passes but lost possession five times.

He was replaced by Pedro Neto after 57 minutes.

Ellie Harrison (Russell Olympic vs. Chester FC)

Young goalkeeper Ellie Harrison has had a strong start to life for Chester FC, keeping two clean sheets in four games as they come from behind to beat Luchal Olympic 2-1 to move into second place in the National League North.

Joe Hugill (Lincoln City v. Wigan Athletic)

Joe Hugill was a force up front as Wigan Athletic were held to a goalless draw at Lincoln City. He had one shot but only 12 touches and four passes, three of which were on target before being hooked on the hour mark.

Tom Miles (Vauxhall Motors vs. Runcorn Linnets)

Another young United goalkeeper who has made a name for himself on loan, Tom Miles, kept a clean sheet at Runcorn Linets as they beat Vauxhall Motors 1-0. It was his second win of the season and third clean sheet as they climbed to 16th in the Northern Premier League – West Division.

Tom Wooster (Farsley Celtic vs. Leamington)

Tom Wooster returned from injury to start in goal for Farsley Celtic for the fourth time this season, but the National League North side lost 1-0 at home to Leamington.

The 19-year-old made four saves but could do nothing about the looping header that decided the game between the two teams. He saw the ball a lot and attempted 20 passes, but only 11 of them found the target.

Sonny Aljofri, 19, is still awaiting his first start for Accrington Stanley, while Rhys Bennett will be hoping to feature for Fleetwood Town against Morecambe tomorrow night after netting a 91st-minute winner against Stoke City in the Carabao Cup earlier this week.
