Loik Bade remains a target for Roma as the summer transfer window enters its final weeks.

The French defender, who won silver at the Paris Olympics, is currently rumoured to be Roma’s new target for De Rossi’s backline.

During the Olympic final against Spain, Bade’s family and friends followed him into the stands at the Parc des Princes stadium.

Aside from the tournament where Bade was able to showcase himself, there was also talk of his future as news spread from Italy that Roma were interested in him.

Asked whether he would stay at Sevilla or switch teams, one of the player’s family members said: “I can’t answer that. I don’t know.”

Bade, who is currently under contract until 2027, should return to Sevilla training in the coming days to face García Pimienta.

But Roma’s interest could be a turning point in his career, with the Roman club likely to take steps to bring him to the capital in the coming days.
