“London: A city that provides the world in one place.” -Stephen Fry
In many cases, the guide is started with a quote, but it feels suitable for the city that is too rich in the city. Everything you want to do can be found in London. History, nightlife, food, culture. Also, knowing exactly what to do means you can be tired.
I grew up in London. My parents often learned as much as possible by teaching overseas studies and teaching classes. Then I spent a year in Oxford and often visited London.
So, I present my list with map.
The city is always changing. But there are things you can’t miss here.
What to do in London
A museum worth visiting
Is London full of amazing museum and the best part? Many of them are free! It is recommended to choose only one or two to avoid burnout. Next is what I like my favorite.

- Natural History Museum-many animal samples and natural history-beautiful buildings.
- Victoria and Albert Museum (V & A) -The wonderful mix of art, fashion and design. There is also a great cafe inside.
- National Portrait Gallery -Required for history and art lovers.
- British Museum There are world -renowned artifacts such as Rosetta Stones and Elgin Marbles.
- Churchill War Room -The fascinating underground bunker of World War II (this is not free but worth it!).

Symbolic landmarks and historical sites
- Westminster Abbey & St. Paul’s Cathedral -These are the most famous churches in London, both absolutely breathtaking. They are a bit expensive, so give you time to explore properly.
- London Tower -It’s the home of crown jewelry. One of the best tourist attractions in London, please make a reservation in advance.
- Tower Bridge Do not confuse it with London Bridge (much less impressive). Walk for a fantastic view.
- Shard -This skyscrapers offer the best panoramic view of the city. If you don’t want to pay the observation deck ticket, drink a drink in one of the bars inside!

London Theater: Mandatory!
London’s theater scenes are unmatched, and tickets are much cheaper than Broadway. Here are some great options:
- Classic favorites: MAMMA MIA! (I saw it at least 20 times!), Lion King,,, Opera,,, wicked.
- New show: Back to the future (Amazing special effects), The devil wears Prada (Get a great review), Average girl,,, Doubt (Very funny!).
- Ticket: Check the LEICESTER SQUARE booth for the last instant transaction or book online. London Theater Directly.

Went around before the show Covent Garden -It is full of cute shops, street performers and excellent restaurants.
The best neighborhood to explore
- Notting hill It is one of the most beautiful areas in London’s most beautiful and spectacular houses, cute cafes and famous Portobello ROAD markets.
- Autonomous market -Regally for food lovers. It is one of London’s best markets full of amazing street food and gourmet snacks. (Funny fact: Bridget Jones’ Diary and Harry Potter The scene was taken here!).
- Seven Dials & Leadenhall Market -It is great for walking, shopping and beautiful old -fashioned buildings.
- Regent Park -London has more parks than other big cities, which is my favorite city (I have prejudice -my parents taught here!).

Where to eat in London
London’s food scene is one of the best in the world. My recommendations are as follows:
- Traditional British: You need to try fish and chips, meat pies and scones with cream and jam!
- Indian and Asian cuisine: London is good at this. Interesting facts: Chicken Tikka Masala is considered a British national cuisine.
- Fortnum & Mason -Instead of Harrods, I prefer shopping (and meals!) Here. Their restaurant is fantastic.
