Jurgen Klopp brought Diaz to the club in 2022 for an initial fee of £37m, and he immediately showed his top talent as Liverpool pushed for a quadruple move.

“Relationships are really good and continue to be good.

“He will pay very close attention to where you need to improve, but he will also praise you for the good things you do. In that sense, he is a good coach.

In an interview with him sky sportsThe Colombian also explained how he specifically works on “deadlines” and “actions.”

He added: “Coaches are always trying to correct the movements needed to get into good position, get in front of the basket better and score more goals. So it really helps me a lot.

“I think it’s mostly about being in the right position, getting closer to your goal and definitely trying to finish.”

One of the main reasons for bringing Slot to Liverpool was his ability to improve players individually. We are already starting to see the fruits of this, and Diaz is the main beneficiary.
