Boulter’s victory fought in the battle to maintain British No. 1 with Emma Raducanu and Sonay Kartal.

Boulter has been the best female player in the United States since June 2023, but has dropped the world in the stop start season.

Raducanu was up to 49th after reaching the Miami Junjun Final last month, and Cartal’s rapid increase in the rapid rise in her 60th place.

Both play the first round of Madrid on Wednesday.

Boulter told the BBC Sport before hitting Siniakova.

“I know that I am very comfortable in my seat and have different travels to each person, and I know that my trip will not be compared with others. I am proud of it.

“I’ve been ranked first in the UK for two years. Now it’s fair. I’m familiar.”

After losing one of the Billie Jean King King Cup Singles in the Netherlands last week, Boulter went to Alicante based on the long -term training week by the fiancé Alex de Minaur.

She decided to be a wise option instead of pressing another WTA Clay -Court event before Madrid.

The problem was able to play only five tournaments this season, and it took almost two months of the WTA tour between the Australian Open in January and the Indian Wells in March.

“I want to see the girls getting higher and higher [in the rankings]But personally I have my own goal and try to focus a lot on them.

“I just need to stay healthy and stay healthy. It is the most important thing and the ranking will take care of myself.”
