The New York Giants returned to practice Tuesday afternoon in preparation for their Week 17 game against the Indianapolis Colts at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey.

Practice was scheduled for Wednesday, a day early to give players time off for Christmas. As a result, no official injury report was registered on Tuesday and the current injury report only served as a projection.

Before leaving for his vacation, coach Brian Daboll spoke with reporters yesterday and tried to do his best to look ahead.

“No, he’s not going today. It’s early this week,” he said of linebacker Micah McFadden.

“I’m giving it to people who don’t have it right now. So (Tyrone) Tracy (Jr.), he won’t be practicing. It’s a little different this time because it’s Tuesday. (Malik) Nabers, John Michael (Schmitz Jr.), (Greg) Stroman (Jr.), (Raheem) Layne, (Cory) Durden, McFadden and Dru Phillips.”

The front office staff, as well as the players, were all off Wednesday, but Daboll said quarterback Drew Lock is expected to start.

“I think Drew will be fine.” he said
