Preparations for the 2024-25 Premier League season are already underway and the fixture list has been released.

The top 20 teams have all figured out the order in which they will play their opponents, with plenty of mouth-watering clashes featured on the cards throughout the entire campaign.

Chelsea and Manchester City are scheduled to play the first weekend of fixtures, while Manchester United are scheduled to play Fulham at Old Trafford on Friday 16 August.

Newcomers Ipswich Town host Liverpool at Portman Road, while Championship champions Leicester are due to welcome Tottenham at the King Power Stadium on Monday night to complete the first gameweek.

Two weeks later, Liverpool will travel to arch-rivals Manchester United as Arne Slot clashes with fellow Dutchman Erik ten Hag at the Theater of Dreams.

Fans will be treated to another mouth-watering derby when Tottenham take on Arsenal on September 14. Here the Gunners will aim to make it three wins in a row against their rivals.

As if that wasn’t tough enough for Mikel Arteta’s side, they travel to champions Manchester City in what could be Pep Guardiola’s final season.

They have to wait until October 26 to face Liverpool and the good news is that by the end of the month they will have already faced four of the top six teams from last season.

Manchester United and Chelsea are due to face each other on November 2, while Tottenham face Aston Villa the same weekend, with both teams expected to challenge for a place in the top three this season.

Long-time rivals Liverpool and Manchester City are due to face each other at Anfield on November 30, with the London derby scheduled for the same weekend that West Ham play Arsenal.

Boxing Day in December will bring some festivities as Chelsea welcome Fulham in a West London derby and Newcastle take on Aston Villa.

The excitement continues in 2025 as Wolves take on Nottingham Forest and Aston Villa battle for the Midlands against Leicester.

Fans will have to wait until April to see the reverse Merseyside derby between Liverpool and Everton, but they’ll have plenty to do in the meantime, including a match between Arsenal and Manchester City in north London.

Crystal Palace are set to welcome Brighton to Selhurst Park as the campaign draws to a close, with the second Manchester derby of the season scheduled for April 5.

All cards are on the table for the final day on May 25, with two teams in contention for the title absent this year.

Manchester City will travel to Fulham while Arsenal will travel to the South Coast to play Southampton.

Liverpool is scheduled to play a home game against Crystal Palace.
